What is spinal manipulation?

Spinal manipulation is a technique where physical therapists apply a controlled thrust to a joint of the spine or extremities. The amount of force varies depending on the type of manipulation used. Our therapists utilize a safe and effective low amplitude, high-velocity approach, which provides a safer and more comfortable technique.

What are the benefits?

Spinal manipulation can reduce pain and improve joint mobility. It can be used as a treatment for headaches and other spine-related conditions, such as neck or low back pain, ankle and foot pain, elbow and forearm pain and jaw pain. When your neck and back joints start moving better, postural imbalances are corrected, muscle flexibility is improved, muscle tightness is reduced, neural flexibility is improved and pain is modulated.
